(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - The MBTA is investigating the collision of two Green Line trolleys in Downtown Boston. Emergency crews transported five passengers and two conductors to the hospital with back and neck pain. One two-car train was stopped at the Boylston Street station when it was rear-ended by another two-car train at 8:45 this morning. Passengers were led off of the trains and walked through the dark subway tunnel to safety. An MBTA spokesperson says no one was seriously injured. The accident should not impact the evening commute.
